Package: exim4-config
Version: 4.34-10
Severity: wishlist

A -o option would be useful on update-exim4.conf.template, to generate a
sample "one big config" from the installed conf.d files when
dc_use_split_config='false'.

This is useful when considering migrating from one-big-file to conf.d --
generate the sample big file from the installed original conf.d files,
using -o to avoid overwriting the live exim4.conf.template, then diff the
two files to discover all local mods that need to be migrated.

The script should run without -r if -o is given.

I know, given my recent posts on exim-users, this might seem like a
strange request -- I actually like the conf.d system for advanced users
who know what they're doing, I just think it's the wrong default for
debian's default MTA.

Thanks,
- Marc
