Package: exim4
Version: 4.14-1
Severity: normal

After installation of exim4, /etc/inetd.conf refers to
/usr/sbin/exim.

Unfortunately, exim4 installs only /usr/sbin/exim4.

To keep backward compatibility,exim4 should link exim to exim4.

Anyway, using exim4 with inetd requires either a modification of
/etc/inetd.conf or this symlink.

IMO, the symlink solution is better in the long term if the exim4 name
is not going to last.

Hope this helps
