Well, the problem is not always here: yesterday i kill the problematic
process and remove the lockfile and restart exim. For now, the problem
has disappear, and i am not sure how to recreate it.

Where is the retry database ?

I will do what you said to me next time it happens (but i am not sure
when it will be).
