Bug#301559: exim4-config: does not properly root localhost.localdomain (standard debian alias)

Package: exim4-config
Version: 4.50-4
Severity: important

In debian localhost.localdomain is always defined as another
localhost alias. So much that nagios use it by default.

17:04:49 1DFDmL-0000Qu-Tk <= nagios@argos.server.maison U=nagios P=local S=486
17:04:49 1DFDmL-0000R0-V2 <= nagios@argos.server.maison U=nagios P=local S=537
17:04:50 1DFDmL-0000Qu-Tk => pagenagios-admin@localhost.localdomain R=smarthost T=remote_smtp_smarthost H=smtp.wanadoo.fr [193.252.22.72]

17:04:50 1DFDmL-0000R0-V2 => nagios-admin@localhost.localdomain R=smarthost T=remote_smtp_smarthost H=smtp.wanadoo.fr
[193.252.22.74]

How joy !

Well a skillfull nagios user is supposed to be knowledgeable
enough to configure his email server by hand and know all the
twists and wistell but i have trusted the configurator without
checking (well until now)... shame on me.

I have not done proper extend research before reporting this bug
so please close or reassign this bug as if this is a gray area.
(no wishlist please, i don't wish a new feature, only that my
nagios mail don't end up on the internet :)

It could also be a local problem as my hosts had:
127.0.0.1       localhost
instead of:
127.0.0.1       localhost localhost.localdomain
a day ago (another error on my side). Maybe this broke initial
exim4 setup ...

Regards
Alban
