MTA-Maintainers, please state how you handle /etc/mailname

Hi,

the exim 4 maintainers have had quite much trouble with policy and
handling of /etc/mailname since policy is not quite clear about what
/etc/mailname should do and what not.

To be able to amend policy, we would like to solicit a statement of
yours what exactly your package does with /etc/mailname.

I have tried to write an abstract of the situation and have put this
information in the Debian Wiki on http://wiki.debian.net/?EtcMailName

I would appreciate if you could add to the wiki what your package does
with /etc/mailname, and if you could also comment on any errors that I
might have made on the wiki page.

If you don't have time or connectivity to put the information in the
wiki directly, please reply to this e-mail (only to me please, not a
group reply), and I will be happy to include your information into the
wiki page. Please state if you do not want your message to be published.
