Package: exim4
Version: 4.50-8

I have the following exim4 packages installed:

ii exim4 4.50-8 metapackage to ease exim MTA (v4) install=
ati
ii exim4-base 4.50-8 support files for all exim MTA (v4) packa=
ges
ii exim4-config 4.50-8 configuration for the exim MTA (v4)
ii exim4-daemon-l 4.50-8 lightweight exim MTA (v4) daemon

This creates a local user:

Debian-exim:x:102:102::/var/spool/exim4:/bin/false

This username:

a) Contains a capital letter.I cannot find any other unix system I
have access to that has a user with a capital letter in the username.

b) Contains the word 'Debian', which seems rather redundant, given
that it's on a debian system. If it's really felt that the word
'Debian' is appropriate, I propose all other debian system users have
'Debian-' prepended to their usernames.

c) Is too long for the output of common tools like ps, and is
truncated to 'Debian-', which is useless for working out the purpose
of the user.

I suggest it be changed to something like 'exim' or 'exim4' in a future rel=
ease.

See /usr/share/doc/exim4-base/README.Debian-accountname

Closing the bug.

Please do not file bugs which are already open multiple times, tagged
wontfix, and where a DEDICATED README file is available in the package.

Greetings
Mac
