That assumption is wrong. The alioth page will remain redirecting to
the web hosting service that we happen to use for the web page. "Cool
URLs don't change".

jftr, wiki.debian.net will soon change for wiki.debian.org, while the
alioth page will remain visible at the same URL. Even if we decide at
some later time to move the actual web page somewhere else.
