Could you please split 40_exim4-config_check_data into 2 files?
One 40_exim4-config_check_data and one 49_exim4-config_check_data where
the 49_exim4-config_check_data contains the last accept line.

Then i can put my own config in 45_exim4-config_check_data, like:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
# 45_exim4-config_check_data

	#######################################################################
	#

	# Unpack MIME containers and reject file extensions
	# used by worms. Note that the extension list may be
	# incomplete.
	deny
		message = files ending in .$found_extension are not accepted here
		demime = bat:com:exe:pif:prf:scr:vbs

	# Reject messages that have serious MIME errors.
	# This calls the demime condition again, but it
	# will return cached results.

	deny
		message = Serious MIME defect detected ($demime_reason)
		demime = *
		condition = ${if >{$demime_errorlevel}{2}{1}{0}}

	# Reject messages containing malware.
	deny
		message = This message contains malware ($malware_name)
		malware = *

	#
	#######################################################################
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This will allow me to use updates and still have custom rules.
Maybe later this could be included in a clamav-exim4 packages or so.

Thanks.

Gr. Sim

This can be accomplished since version 4.50-6:

  .ifdef CHECK_DATA_LOCAL_ACL_FILE
  .include CHECK_DATA_LOCAL_ACL_FILE
  .endif

Drop your ACL stanzas in a file, set CHECK_DATA_LOCAL_ACL_FILE to the
appropriate file name.

If that doesn't do what you need, please feel free to re-open the bug.

Greetings
Marc
