Package: exim4-config
Version: 4.50-8
Severity: wishlist

If one wishes to copy the /var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated file generated in /etc/exim4/exim4.conf, for later customisation, unfortunately, there are no more comments explaining the role of various options.

I think that the parsing of /etc/exim4/exim4.conf.template should not remove the comments found.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
