Possible? Sure. But it won't be done.

The magic configuration is only intended for the simplest cases. A
system with multiple official IP addresses surely is not a simple case.

Please feel free to edit the configuration to suit your needs, the
relevant files are dpkg-conffiles and will survive upgrades.

For completeness, please file such requests as bugs in the BTS in the
future so that they can be properly handled. For this issue, however,
the proper handling would be "tags wontfix".
