The cleanest approach would be to have a package etc-mailname which
cleanly takes care of managing the file. Packages needing that file
would only need to depend on etc-mailname.

The same approach could then be used for etc-aliases. Both packages
could be created from the same source, maybe called
shared-mail-config-files.
