Bug#433101: exim4: non-ascii value in smarthost entry

After upgrading to exim4 version 4.67-5
I get the following error message:

  ${lookup{${address:$h_from:}}lsearch*@{/etc/exim4/smarthosts}} 
  read from /etc/exim4/update-exim4.conf.conf, sanitizing to 
  __lookup___address:_h_from:__lsearch*@_/etc/exim4/smarthosts__

The "non ascii" entry" in /etc/exim4/update-exim4.conf.conf is the 
following:

- dc_smarthost='${lookup{${address:$h_from:}}lsearch*@{/etc/exim4/smarthosts}}'

If I changed the entry to

- 'mail.myprovider.de'

I get no error  messages
