I disagree with that, the package is in daily use on thousands of
systems. Leaving the bug nevertheless.

4.63-17 was uploaded in January. How many centuries did you refrain
from upgrading your testing installation?

What happens when you recompile 4.63-17 on your current system?
I suspect a kernel/library issue.
