Bug#489688: d-r exim4-config sometimes hides mail name when it shouldn't

Package: exim4
Version: 4.69-5
Severity: normal

If one initially has receive by SMTP and deliver by smarthost, with sender domain name hidden (e.g. x at fake.domain => x at realdomain.com), then if one changes the mail server and reconfigures the first one to smarthost and no local then there is no way to stop rewriting the address even if no longer wants to do that.
