Why did you use the hankaku katakana(CP932) in /usr/sbin/update-exim4.conf

Hi Maintainer.

/usr/sbin/update-exim4.conf

  154:local_domains="$(echo @:localhost:"${dc_other_hostnames}" | \
  155:  sed -e 'sT[;: ]*$TT' -e 'sT *T' -e 'sT;T:Tg')"
   * change hankaku katakana character to T
   * sed is GNU sed v4.3(now sid version).

Not work this commandline at "UTF-8 locale(ex ja_JP.UTF-8)".
Why is this character used?

Please look the attached shellscript.
