Lookups in exim4-daemon-heavy

Hi,

as I understand, exim4-daemon-heavy is the "big feature pack" of the exim4 daemon-package, especially including DB-lookups.

Is there a specific reason the DNSDB-lookup is not included?

My specific problem is as follows:

For a specific set of domains, I need specific mailrouting. The maintainer of these domains supplies me with a single FQDN to use for routing mails for all domains. The only problem is: It's not an A-RR but a set of MX-RRs.

With exim3, I would have set up mailrouting using the "bydns_mx"-option.
With exim4, I'd like to use a dnsdb-lookup querying the MX for the FQDN. Well, won't work, dnsdb-lookup isn't compiled in, not even in the -heavy. :(
Now I have the choice of compiling it myself which would get our security-guys into my neck for using out-of-date-software, using another MTA for this specific purpose or doing a bad workaround with manual oder (semi)automatic reconfiguration of the router when the MX-RRs change.. :(
