Bug#515999: MAIN_TLS_TRY_VERIFY_HOSTS default setting

Hi!

I also just fell victim to this problem, setting MAIN_TLS_TRY_VERIFY_HOSTS
to the empty string instead of a wildcard helped to work it.

Fortunately someone called me by phone to tell me he wasn't able to send
me an eMail, otherwise I'd not had known I actually had a mail delivery
problem...

How about actually changing MAIN_TLS_TRY_VERIFY_HOSTS' default value?

And maybe the related (?) bugs 515999, 517394 and 482420 should be merged?
