thanks for the report and complete diagnosis.
I have chosen to simply drop support for support for
"/etc/init.d/exim4 what". It offered zero benefit over simply running
exiwhat. "what" is not a standard argument for initcripts and our
initscript can benefit quite a bit from being a little bit less
complicated.
