Fixing #760278

Hi,

back in 2014, Vincent Lefevre suggested a patch makin exim more
gracefully finding its own hostname by using getaddrinfo(). I rather
brusquely told tim to take things upstream.

The corresponding upstream issue is rotting away in their bugzilla since
then because they didn't like the patch too well because they have to
support systems that don't have getaddrinf(). Vincent didn't bother to
adapt his patch with a few #ifdefs, so things have come to a halt back
then.

_We_ have getaddrinfo() available universally, don't we? So we could
eventually take the patch as it is, solving the issue.

Would that be a possible way to go? Let me know what you think.
