Bug#1058808: exim4: Consider including Authenticated Received Chain (ARC) support in Debian packages

Hi Andreas,

The exim spec
(https://github.com/Exim/exim/blob/master/doc/doc-txt/experimental-spec.txt)
reckons that RFC 8617 was published 2019/06 - which is now over 6 years ago.
The errata looks reasonable and it seems nobody has spun up a new RFC to
replace this with something even better. Somewhat that doesn't feel like
experimental and "new stuff" really. And also exim users seem to have been
running that code for quite some time now - without real indication of
problems, malfunction or bugs from all I can find on the public search
engine results.

As currently SPF/DMARC/DKIM and co. are seeing more emphasis (e.g. BSI
pushing for more secure email) - what's upstream's position on revising the
statement that the ARC is considered not ready for primtime?

Best regards,
Kilian
