Yes, it is disabled in mail.app and yes I've used this mail.app to
send via my isp's server without ssl.
My gut's been telling me it's some configuration mismatch but I've
not found anything. Any suggestions on config settings that could
possibly cause the server to terminate a connection so abruptly?
