[Pkg-exim4-users] exim unable to set uid/gid

That's the standard (non-Debian) answer in the exim FAQ - I said I'd
done some hours of searching, so naturally I've already seen that, and
anyway I'm not so incompetent as to miss that possibility were it
applicable!

The answers are yes, no, and anyway it doesn't matter since exim is
started from the init scripts (or manually by root).
