That is a dpkg issue, and nothing that the exim4 packages can change.
We might be able to change this once (and if) we migrate to ucf, but
that's still fiction.

You need to talk to dpkg to suppress these prompts.

How will you handle the configuration file changes? If you do not have
any local changes, the questions should not be asked in the first
place. If your conffiles have local changes, then you need to manually
intervene anyway. We of course recommend taking our version of the
conffiles, but that'll make you lose any customizations.
