I would use my own router/transport combination, probably based on the
system_aliases router, limited to the minimalist domains.

For example, the Mailman package contains an example which allows exim
to directly look into Mailman's configuration to determine whether a
list exists, eliminating the need of maintaining redundant
information in the alias file.

Most probably, such a scheme would be possible for minimalist.

but, there is more than one way to do it.
