Yes, they can. They are (part of) regular exim lists, either a "host
list" (e.g. local_host_blacklist) or address list (e.g.
wilcards in address lists:
wildcards in host lists:
`What a good friend you are to him, Dr. Maturin. His other friends are
so grateful to you.'
`I sew his ears on from time to time, sure'
