[Pkg-exim4-users] server upgrade/migration

Someone on the exim users lists just asked about this sort of thing
and I am wondering if it is ok to just copy /var/spool/exim4.  This is
not an upgrade of exim4, both servers are running exim4 4.67-5build1,
aka standard ubuntu gutsy 7.10 release.

Graeme Fowler replied:
No, not really - you might have changed db formats, for example, so the
hints databases may no longer work properly. I'm sure there are other
things too.
