[Pkg-exim4-users] exim4 problem

Brilliant idea.

 dpkg -s /var/spool/exim4
and
 grep log/exim4 /var/lib/dpkg/info/exim4*

tell you which package is responsible for this directories.

Try to reinstall or purge and install exim4-base.
