I know this isn't a Ubuntu support group. I was correcting the
statement: "Please point me to a place where I can download Debian Hardy
images.

Now I see the log entries indicating that. Missed it before. What I
can't figure out is what entry in the Dpkg-reconfigure menu causes this.
I changed the system mail name, which was the only reference to my ISP
that I could find other than the smtp server designation, from cox.net
to localhost, 127.0.0.1, and blank at different times with no result.
What am I missing?
