I am having no luck trying to configure the exim4 in kali linux 2.0 to send its mail queue to smtp.g.comcast.net:587. swak says my login creds using TLS on 587 authenticate fine. I’m using (or trying to) use the split config option for exim4, but I’m confused where to put things like router, transport, and authenticators. if I put them in their respective 00_exim4-config_header files in the conf.d/router, auth, or transport folders when I run update-exim4.conf it says “there are two routers called remote_smtp_smarthost”, or “two transports called login”, etc. I am lost here guys, and could really use some help with this. I gather it’s not easy to get this working…..any help MUCH appreciated!
