Given exactly this issue this is unlikely to happen.  See
https://bugs.exim.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2728 and
https://bugs.exim.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2783 and the complete lack of
dmarc upstream response in
https://github.com/trusteddomainproject/OpenDMARC/issues/167
