[pymvpa] PyMVPA 0.5: feature wishlist

For my own work, the most advantageous feature I've developed and used
are kernel caching methods and associated parameter selection
techniques. I would be quite willing to polish and unify this to the
extent possible if others think this is a worthwhile task.

On an unrelated note, I consistently feel the need to at least attempt a
'dumbAnalysisPipeline' object, or, dare I say, GUI, that at bare minimum
can generate reusable template code or objects for newbies. Even if the
end result is a user getting frustrated with the gui and deciding to
manually code everything I still think it would be a success in the
sense that it's more of a gentle, interactive introduction to the
engine; in the best case scenario a full-stack FSL/SPM-alike would go a
long way in popularizing the package. In any case, it would also be a
great marketing tool to show at the top of the webpage ;). Is anyone
else interested in attempting this, or is the consensus still that it's
too vaguely defined?

Oh, sorry Michael, I meant 'dumb_analysis_pipeline' ;)
