[pymvpa] I need some help

Theoretically 0.6 should be as happy on Windows as 0.4 was ;)  we just
haven't (yet) provided installer ... let me look into it

BUT, for the best experience we do recommend GNU/Linux, Debian in
particular, or its derivatives such as Ubuntu if desired.  Pros:
installation of pymvpa as any other software is a breeze:

sudo apt-get install python-mvpa-snapshot

Meanwhile, on Windows, to not bother dual-booting anything, you could
give a try to our neurodebian virtual appliance:

http://neuro.debian.net/vm.html

NB for now please try with VirtualBox from 3.2 series:

  http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_3_2

  so that shared folder functionality works out of the box with our
  virtual machine appliance
