[pymvpa] python 2.6

Dear Mr.,

I was trying to install Python on my windows 7, 64-bit. After installing
it, i run it and it gave me the following message: "*Python version 2.6
required which was not found in the registry*".

I want to get this software work. There is a list of other softwares that
should be downloaded for this purpose. Could you please guide me somehow?
Because that seems confusing to me.
