iirc no 'sudo mount' should be necessary if you specified that shared
folders should be auto-mounted.

ok -- what is the version of virtual box you are using? may be I could
give it a try (though running virtualbox within virtualboxed Windows
might be challenging... otherwise I have no access to the M$ systems)
