Dato,

Not sure if we are misusing terms.  I certainly haven't ever proposed to 
recommend anything on behalf of the release team.  I was just making a 
recommendation to the package maintainer on what I as another DD saw as the 
best way forward.  

If you like I can use another term other than 'recommend', perhaps 'suggest' 
or something else?

In this context Romain suggested that he only upload the fixed package to lenny 
and upload a new package to sid:

! fix the package in lenny, as well as uploading a new package for sid

I was suggesting that he upload the fixed package to sid (not the new package), 
but agree my wording could of been more specific. Just to clear things up I 
certainly don't want to see the new package in unstable.

Romain. If you really do want to upload the new upstream release, then I would 
suggest you use the experimental distribution until lenny is released.
