Nothing attached to TV-out or HDMI, and I tried deleting /etc/ati/ and
reinstalling the drivers.
I am not using compiz (anyway gdm itself fails to start, I don't get
to a user session).
The Device section in Xorg.conf is:
Section "Device"
Identifier "aticonfig-Device[0]-0"
Driver "fglrx"
BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
EndSection
Thanks,
Luca
