9-5 kernel module does not compile with 2.6.30 kernel.

9-6 is not yet available on amd64.

following the advice in another ticket, i attempted to download and
compile the 9-6-3 source on amd64.

it has an unsatisfiable build-dep on ia32-libs (>>2.7).  nor does
it compile if the build-dep is ignored.
