Package: fglrx-driver
Version: 1:9-2-2
Severity: normal
With the onboard graphics card (a nvidia) I had multiple x-servers
running, via /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc:
StaticServers=:0,:1,:2
Now I upgraded the machine and use an ATI graphics card with the
fglrx driver:
03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV610 video device [Radeon HD 2400 PRO]
But this setting above causes a kernel panic - when kdm tries to start
the X servers, I only see the blinking CapsLock/ScrollLock LEDs.
Now that I changed the setting to
StaticServers=:0
it doesn't crash anymore - but I'd like to get more than one X server,
to have multiple people logged in.
Regards,
Phil
