[Pkg-fglrx-devel] Bug#501820: workaround

Hi guys,

I've got the problem, that I need BOTH drivers (fglrx and radeon; i.e.
the proprietary VariCAD CAD-program is only working with the
fglrx-driver and the 3D-modeler blender is only working with the radeon
driver! Sounds funny, but it's real!).

What you need:
- a different xorg.conf
- the right version of the libGL.so.1.2 in /usr/lib
- the right version of the libdri.so in /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions

I wrote two init-scripts, which are symlinking the right config file and
libs for me at system startup. The fglrx driver versions are linked,
when started with runlevel 3, the other runlevels start the radeon
driver. I created two menu entries at the grub boot menu, one for each
driver. For strange reasons caused by the fglrx driver, I cannot change
the driver without a reboot. But better then installing and
de-installing the fglrx-driver package...

All the best

Fabi
