[Pkg-fglrx-devel] Bug#586797: fails to render textures in supertuxkart

Marvin Renich mrvn at renich.org
Tue Jun 22 16:24:16 UTC 2010

Package: fglrx-driver
Version: 1:10-5-1
Severity: normal

Both versions 1:10-5-1 and 1:10-6-1 fail to display textures when
playing supertuxkart. Downgrading to 1:10-4-1 does not have this
problem. (I did not try 1:10-4-2.)

Note that I have the working 1:10-4-1 installed while submitting this
bug report, so some of the automatically generated info below is not
particularly relevant. The binary packages that I upgraded/downgraded
together while diagnosing this are fglrx-driver, fglrx-glx,
fglrx-glx-ia32, and the kernel module (I used m-a to compile the module
for 1:10-4-1 and 1:10-5-1; I used fglrx-modules-dkms to build the module
for 1:10-6-1.) I have tried both 1:10-4-1 and 1:10-5-1 with kernel
2.6.32-5-amd64; 1:10-6-1 was only tried with kernel 2.6.32-4-amd64.
