[Pkg-fglrx-devel] Bug#590456: fglrx-control: amdcccle complains about InputClass section in xorg.conf

Nicolas Pichon nmi3 at free.fr
Mon Nov 29 14:39:09 UTC 2010

Package: fglrx-control
Version: 1:10-11-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

Just found this bug report as I have the same problem on my Sony Vaio VGN-FW21Z laptop, running Debian Sid amd64.

I upgraded to the fglrx packages from experimental (before I was running package from unstable), but still have the same problem.

here is an output of amdcccle :

Parse error on line 12 of section InputClass in file /etc/X11/xorg.conf
"InputClass" is not a valid section name.
Parse error on line 12 of section InputClass in file /etc/X11/xorg.conf
"InputClass" is not a valid section name.

I've rebooted my laptop, and all fglrx-* packages have been upgraded to version from experimental. Maybe a regression between 1:10-10-1 and 1:10-11-1 ?

Best regards,

Nicolas Pichon.
