While we are talking about changing the numbering scheme ...
I'd like to switch to an upstream version without dashes. First possible
date would be January 2013: 12-12 => 13.1
It's currently not possible to set some versioned relationship against
the upstream part, e.g. Depends: amdfoo (>> 12-5) because 12-2-1 would
fulfill this: (12)-(5) is less than (12-2)-(1). Therefore I usually have
to use 12-5-~
