Hi,
the dejavu package has been reworked in the latest release (based on
Debian 2.19-1);
* split the package into two (-core and -extra) together with a
metapackage (ttf-dejavu) to provide smooth upgrades.
* ttf-dejavu-core contains the Sans, Sans-Bold, Serif, Serif-Bold,
SansMono and SansMono-Bold variants only.
* ttf-dejavu-extra contains the rest of the variants.
the full patch can be seen in [1]
I've discussed it on #dejavu and seems like a good patch. I'd like to know
what you think about this before adopting it in Debian.
Keeping Debian and Ubuntu packages aligned would IMHO also be a good idea.
Regards,
Davide
