I've created an "etch" branch in the svn repository [1] and have
backported the fix: let's see if we can collect enough fixes to
prepare an updated version (2.15-2) of the package.

Note that the changelog only lists this bug number which will be
declared as closed in the next release (2.20-1 ?) due rather soon.
