doing so until Thursday and I might forget later...:-))

Our policy in such case is that you remain the "real" maintainer of
the package and you have priority for any design issue.

In short, no other member of the team should commit to "your"
package's SVN subtree without getting your consent or if you're
apparently MIA.

I usually call this a "loose team" policy. The font maintenance team
does not supersede the maintainer: we are "only" adding more
relialability to the way a given package is maintained.

We also encourage team members to discuss issues in this very mailing
list so that we somehow share some experience together.

The team also "offers" some sponsoring facility to font packages'
maintainers with the few DD in the team uploading others' work on
simple requests.
