A few comments:
ttf-lg-aboriginal (1.0-0ubuntu1) intrepid; urgency=low
That's not suitable for an upload in Debian...should be:
ttf-lg-aboriginal (1.0-1) unstable; urgency=low
* Initial release under GPL Version 3. Closes LP: #191303
Hopefully, that can make it to Ubuntu's BTS. Not really sure. Maybe
you need to wait until the package is in Debian, then release a
1.0-1ubuntu1 with the "Closes LP" statement.
Lintian warning:
W: ttf-lg-aboriginal: description-contains-homepage
Indeed, you should not repeat the Homepage in the package description.
The mention of the author also does not belong to the description. It
is already in the debian/copyright file.
Finally, the description should be improved:
- no capitals in synopsis
- "from Language Geek" adds no value
- what is meant by "aboriginal". That word has a different meaning
whether you're in Canada, Australia, South Africa, etc. I think you
mean "native languages" and mor especifically "native languages from
North America
Actually, that impacts the name of the font. I wouldn't recommend
naming it "aboriginal" but better create the connection with native
(north) americans. And, no, I don't have good suggestions..:-)
Apart from that, the packaging seems mostly safe.
May I suggest you join the pkg-fonts team. Didn't Nicolas already
suggest that?
