I've just checked with Pango upstream maintainer and looks like the problem is been fixed
with latest Pango release. It'd be interesting to perform a test and eventually reassign the
BR to pango. I can't try it right now but will do as soon as I can.

It'll be a post-Lenny fix, given the timings.
