Quick note to mention that I've been in touch with the upstream designer
 of Rufscript (I sent him release/tarball structure recommendations and
a packaging template) and invited him to join the team and co-maintain
his fonts. He's released various other open fonts and AFAICT is
interested in helping maintain them.

Maybe you could work together on these?
