Package: ttf-freefont
Version: 20090104-2
Severity: important
I just updated ttf-freefont and I'm now seeing rather strange characters
in displayed web pages. As near as I can tell, the problem is with
Unicode single and double quotes, which appear to be "corrupting"
characters next to them, turning them into unexpected Unicode characters.
Attached is a screen shot from Firefox viewing Planet Debian that shows
the problem.
