[Pkg-fonts-devel] proposal: xfonts-base package transit from X Strike force to Debian Font Task Force Team

Hi pkg-fonts-devel people,

 I want to suggest X Strike Force to handover xfonts-base to Debian Font 
 Task Force Team, because it is "font" package (isn't it?).

 Why I would tell you to do this, because it seems to have not enough
 resource or interest in their team. 
 For example, http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=423315
 This bug leaves 2 years and 6 months from update request with a patch, 
 and no reply from maintainers. (there is the patch and pinging to do that, but...)

 It is separated from X.Org main components, there are in 
 http://xorg.freedesktop.org/releases/individual/font/

 There are some resources for font related work in Debian Font Task Force Team,
 and some font expert or font lovers in there. And there is no wrong side-effect 
 for X.Org components itself.

 So, I think that's good for both team, and especially for "users".
 How about this idea?
